Common Sandpiper

Combination of :
​- dark-green flag (some with geolocator) (on left tibia).
​- 2 c-rings (on left tarsus). 
- yellow ring (in 2015) / orange ring (in 2016) / light-green (lime) (in 2017) over metal ring (on right tarsus).

note 1 : used colours are : yellow, lime, orange, black, red, dark-blue, white, dark-green, light-blue.

note 2 : 

Combination of :
- 2 c-rings (on left tarsus).
- yellow ring (in 2015) / orange ring (in 2016) / light-green (lime) (in 2017) over metal ring (on right tarsus).

note 1 :  some birds have a green flag with a geolocator (on left tibia).

note 2 :

Combination of a c-ring over a white flag (on left tibia) and metal ring on right tarsus.

note 1 : c-ring can be dark-green or red or dark-blue or orange.

note 2 : birds ringed at the Biosphere Reserve of Urdaibai near Gernika.

note 3 :

Combination of a coded ring and a c-ring :

* right tibia : red ring.

* right tarsus : orange ring with a black three alpha-numeric code (X01 - X99)

* right tarsus : metal ring.

note 1 : birds ringed as adult.

Combination of a coded ring and a c-ring :

* left tarsus : metal ring.

* right tibia : orange ring.

* right tarsus : red ring with a white three alpha-numeric code (X01 - X99)

note 1 : birds ringed as pulli.

note 2: Sunnmøre Ringing Group is responsible for the project. Most of the birds will be flagged in Barstadvik, Ørsta, Møre & Romsdal county, Norway, on migration. We hope to flag 100-200 birds/year.
