Common Seal

Blue tag with a white five numeric code.
Tag bleu avec un code blanc cinq numeric.

note 1 : the tag is rectangular 4cm. x 1cm. with on one side the year and the rehab number in the form of a 2 or 3 number (YY-RRR).

note 2 : on the other side the text : Zeehondencentrum, info@zeehondencentrum.nl, Pieterburen, Holland.

note 3 : 2024: Black ; 2023: White ; 2022: Red ; 2021: Blue ; 2020: Purple ; 2019: Grey ; 2018: Black ; 2017: White ; 2016: Red ; 2015: Purple ; 2014: Orange.

note 4 : seals (Common Seals and Grey Seals) are usually tagged on the right hind flipper between the 2nd and 3rd digit, unless there is any injury on that limb, in that case we tag on the left hind flipper.
