Combination of c-rings :
* 2 c-ring (on one leg).
* metal ring ring over c-ring (on other leg).

note 1 : birds ringed since 1997 on three locations in the Netherlands.

note 2 : used colours are : grey, purple/mauve, pink, light-green/lime, dark-green, dark-blue, brown/umber, orange, white, black, yellow, red.

note 1 : the black ring is the marker of the project.

note 2 : the aim of the study is a a stop-over migration behaviour.

Combination of two rings (on one leg) and one ring (usually above) a metal ring.

note 1 : metal ring can be on right or left leg, but always below c-ring.

note 2 : used colours are :
(1) single colours : light blue, dark blue, dark green, yellow, pink, orange, red, white.

(2) two-coloured (broad striped) : dark blue-white, red-white, dark green-light blue, orange-light blue, pink-black, yellow-black, red-dark blue.

(3) two-coloured (narrow striped "zebra"): black-white, red-white, pink-black.

note 3 : ongoing long-term population project close to Uppsala (Sweden). Since 1993 we ring annually about 50 adults and 300-400 nestlings during the breeding season.
