Arctic Tern

Terns

species:
notes:

Dark-green ring with a 3 x 3 matrix of white dots, and one orientation dot.

note 1 : this serves a similar function to a QR code but much simpler, and is partly a trial scheme.

note 2 : the minimum number of dots would be 1 (the orientation) and maximum 10. All except 2 rings would be between these and this would give me 512.

note 3 :t he rationale is that all sightings of my previous colour rings have been from the ringing site (and mainly by me) and rings would be used on fledglings, and a camera used for subsequent sightings when they return the following years (philopatry in this site is, or at least was, around 75%).
