note 2 : altogether 42 Taiga Bean Geese and 36Tundra Bean Geese were neckbanded (letters E, O, Y) during spring migration 2007-2012 in northern Sweden (Umea, Lulea) by Adjan de Jong, Thomas Heinicke and colleagues.

note 3 : 58 Taiga Bean Geese were neckbanded (Letters E and Y) as moult visitors in Lapland/Sweden in summers 2012-2015 by Adjan de Jong, Thomas Heinicke and colleagues.

note 4 : 71 Taiga Bean Geese were neckbanded (letter E, letter K of series KJA-KJZ, KLA-KLZ) in November 2014 and 2015 at Lille Vildmose/Denmark by Tony Fox, Kees Polderdijk and colleagues. These birds got an additional white legring to study the amount of neckband losses.
