note 1 : in 2004, 18 chicks were ringed at the Goczalkowice Resrevoir (Southern Poland). None since that time.

note 1 : the project runs for an ecological and behavioural reproduction study in one of the most important European wetlands ‘Ria de Aveiro’.

note 1 : the ringer is Alberto Boto and the birds are ringed in north Italy, Palude Brabbia and by Stefano Volponi in the Po-Delta (15 birds in 2007).

note 1 : during 2006 and 2008 c-rings were placed on the right leg, the metal ring on the left leg (both on tibia).

note 2 : during 2007 and 2009 c-rings  were placed on the left leg, the metal on the right leg (both on tibia).

Green ring with a white one alpha or numeric code : 1 letter OR 1 digit (on left tibia).

note 1 : project runs in Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands with very limited amount of birds with colour ring. Study on habitat use and migration routes.

White ring with a black three alpha-numeric code : Axx, where ”xx” is a number or a letter.
