note 1 : introduced species were ringed all over Germany since 1997. Actual numbers (2007): 7870 ringings, 114167 recoveries of swans, geese, goosehybrids and Flamingos.
note 2 : in the german breedingpopulation of geese 0.5-1% are hybrids. 17 different kind of hybrids, with 9 species involved were ringed.
note 3 : the most common hybrid (ca. 85% of the hybrids) in Germany is Greylag x Canada goose. This hybrid is not fertile.
