Barnacle Goose
scientific name: 
Branta leucopsis

White ring with a black three alpha-numeric code in combination with several uncoded c-rings.

note 1 : the combination of rings is a combination from coloured spiral rings in different combinations in association with the darvic coded rings.

note 2 : some 900 birds were ringed on the Inishkea Island, Co. Mayo so these birds (should) belong to the Greenland population.

note 3 : the project runs in cooperation with Steve Percival.
