note 1 : used colours are blue, white, green.

note 2 : blue or white rings are used on 47 goslings ringed at Chukotka, Anadyr River mouth during 1993 by the Institute of Biological Problems of the North (Far East Branch, Russian Academy of Science) and the Japanese Association for Wild Geese Protection.

note 3 : red or white rings are used on 750 goslings ringed at Wrangel Island during 1996-97 by the Wrangel Island Nature Reserve and the USA Fish and Wildlife Reserve.
