Rails and coots

Combination of c-rings.

note 1 : c-ring above BTO metal ring (on right leg) ; c-ring above c-ring (on left leg).

note 2 : used colours are white, black, green, yellow, pink, orange, red, purple, dark-blue and light-blue.

note 3 : birds are ringed in North West England.

note 4 : project started in winter 2009.

note 5 : use of this combination finished in 2011, by which time 1000 birds had been ringed: http://birdringing.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/1000-up.html .  Reports of these birds are still required however.
