note 1 : used colours are white, red, orange, yellow, dark-blue, medium-green, violet and black.

note 2 : birds are ringed in Garkalne Forest, E-NE of Riga, central Latvia.

note 3 : during 2004 and 2005 , 77 nestlings were ringed ; only two of the nestlings got an extra (third) c-ring on top of the metal ring in 2004).
