White ring with black 4 alpha-numeric code
note 1 : an unringed wild Eurasian Griffon vulture was found exhausted on 21st July 2007 near the village of Walddorf Egenhausen, County Calw, Land of Baden-Württemberg, SW-Germany. We ringed the vulture after a few weeks of care on the day of release as follows :
* right leg: „Vogelwarte Radolfzell Germania AAA 206“(silver, with clip)
* left leg: white ring with black code A7 above P5, with clip (see photo attached).
This colour-ring is from the German White-tailed Sea Eagle colour-ringing program.
The bird was released in good condition on 7 September 2007, 13.30h at the following location : 48°23’14.01’’N 09°04’52.46’’E (Baden-Württemberg, County Tübingen, Mössingen, Farrenberg, 792m).
