Four colour rings plus a metal ring. A single colour ring (on right tibia) (either red or yellow), 2 colour rings on 1 tarsus and colour ring over metal ring (on either tarsus).
note 1: A red or yellow ring on the right tibia, in combination with 3 additional colour rings on tarsi, is unique to this scheme.
note 2: The project begun in 1994 by the North West Norfolk Ringing Group and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) to investigate the breeding ecology and the effects of human disturbance and predation on a population breeding at Snettisham/Heacham in Norfolk.
