Combination of 1 c-ring and metal ring (on right tarsus) and 2 c-rings (on the other tarsus).

note 1 : the one ring with metal ring below or above the c-ring gives the ringing year. For instance in France with metal ring we used white in 1997, dark-green in 1998, stripped pink/dark-green in 1999 and stripped white/red in 2000 (but sometimes we used a three rings combination for example white and red in 2000).

note 2 : the project runs since 1989 in Brittany (West of France) since 1987 in the Tagus Estuary (Portugal). Since the beginning of the study about 2500 birds were ringed in Portugal and 600 birds in France.
