Combination of c-rings with one alpha-numeric code :
1 letter, but also 1 number or a bar code (on both legs) and a metal ring (on tibia).

note 1 : the project has started in 2009 in city parks of Arnhem, The Netherlands. Since 2011 birds are also ringed in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Groningen and the province Limburg. Young birds will fly out over a large area.

note 2 : used  colours are : Yellow (Y), White (W), Red (R), Bleu (B) and Dark Green (G). Except some cases with white or yellow rings, we have used always two different colours.

note 3 : used letters and numbers are ACEFHJKLNPRSTUVXYZ, 0123456789. Only on yellow and white rings are used also 1 (-), 2 (=) or 3 (E) bars. In some cases is also the D used on white rings.

note 4 : between 2009 and 2013 are more than 1300 Egyptian Geese ringed with colourrings.
