Combination of 1 uncoded c-ring and a metal ring.
but also : combination of 3 c-rings : 1 c-ring (on each tarsus) and 1 c-ring (on right tibia) and metal ring (on left tibia).
note 1: combination of 3 uncoded c-rings used for adult birds on breeding sites.
note 2 : used colours are black , orange, red, white, dark-green, dark-blue.
note 3 : combination of 1 uncoded c-ring and a metal ring by rotating the position of both rings (left tibia-left tarsus-right tibia-right tarsus) used for pulli. Chicks from single brood have the same combination of rings.
note 4 : used colours are black , orange, red, white, dark-green, dark-blue, light-green (lime) and light-blue.
note 5 : the project started april 2014 in the Drava River area (NE Slovenia) : 53 adult birds (used colours O-R-W-B) and 95 chicks (used colours N-O-R-W-G-B) were ringed during the breeding season of 2014.
note 6 : 33 adult birds (used colours N-B-G-O-W) and 124 chicks (used colours N-B-G-O-R-W) ringed during the breeding season of 2015.
note 7 : Warning! As of 2015, red colour rings extensively faded after only one year to the point that they are hard to distinguish from orange (O) rings in the field (see image – comparison of recovered red ring with unused one and with unused orange).
