White ring with a black two alpha-numeric code (on left leg) and metal ring (on right leg). 

note 1 : the aim is to monitor the populalion occupying the brown coal mining area of Northern Bohemia. The aim is to find out, how pipits are changing their terrritories in quickly changing landscape.

note 2 : males are ringed on left tarsus and females on right tarsus. Cameras are used on nests because of predation and this will help to easily distinguish male and female.
