Combination of :
- 1 up to a combination of 3 c-rings (on right or left leg) and metal ring (on the other leg)

note 1 : the c-rings were in the early ‘90s on the right leg, in 2004 on the left leg. The metal ring on the left leg and in 2004 on the right leg.

note 2 : used colours are : orange, red, white, yellow, dark-blue, light-green, dark-green and black.

note 3 : red/white, yellow/white, orange/white, dark blue/white, red/yellow, orange/red. 

note 4 : nearly 200 waxwings have been colour-ringed around Aberdeen, Scotland in late October/early November 2004.

It is important to record which leg the colour-rings are on.
Colours used are : orange, red, white, yellow, dark blue, light green, dark green and black.
The last substantial October/November invasions into the UK were back in the early 1990s. In November 1990 we colour-ringed 189 waxwings and thanks to a superb effort by many birdwatchers, 115 sightings of 54 colour-ringed birds were reported throughout the UK away from Aberdeen that winter, as well as birds in Denmark and the Netherlands.
