note 1 : project under test. Birds ringed in Ammarnäs, Sweden and Slettnes, Norway.

note 2 : some 20-25 birds/site will be ringed PER SITE; thus 40-50 in total.

note 3 : the reason of colour-taping is to distinguish already and not yet marked birds on the ringing spots.

note 4 : geolocators are back-mounted using leg-loops. A small stalk will protrude from the back-feathers.
