note 1 : during 1998-2002 Marc Bosch ringed several species of Ardeidae on Medes Islands, NE Spain. A total of 400 birds were marked, with cattle egret the main species. Used codes are : N000-N399.
note 2 : at the same colony, about 1200 nests, ringing continues. During 2004 some 21 birds (used codes are: N400-N421) are ringed. During 2005 40 individuals were ringed (used codes are N422-N462). During 2006 58 individuals were ringed.
