note 1 : project held by the Stazione Biologica Isola della Cona. Started in summer 2004 (47 birds ringed), continued in 2005 (51 birds ringed) in the Foce dell’ Isonzo Nature Reserve (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, NE Italy) ; to be continued.

note 2 : as these birds are the result of a reintroduction programme in the Foce dell’ Isonzo NatureReserve (Isola della Cona) and two other adjacent Nature Reserves, at the moment they are unlikely (?) to be seen away from the northern Adriatic breeding areas.
