Yellow wingtag (on both wings) with a black four alpha-numeric code :
SP" (to denote Spain) and two numbers.

note 1 : other used colours are : light-blue and white.

note 2 : birds where captured during wintering period at Binaced, Huesca (northeastern Spain).

note 3 : from February 2005 till November 2016 609 kites where marked with wingtags (200 yellow, 160 blues and 244 white ).

note 4 : retrapped non Spanish kites with metal ring are attached with wing tags too.

note 5 : majority of kites are attached with white PVC rings with code in black from Biological Station of Doñana.
