note 1: Eurasian Griffon and Black Vulture are ringed at the nest in France in different regions: Pyrenees, Grands-Causses, Baronnies, Vercors, Verdon. All the Black vulture are ringed since the first reintroduction program in 1981 and more than one hundred Griffon vulture are ringed each year. In addition, trapping sessions are made every autumn to put a new ring to birds that lost their colour-ring or metal-ring.
