note 1 : used colours are : white, yellow, orange, red, green, dark-blue, light-blue, light-violet, brown and black.

note 2 : both adults and chicks have been INDIVIDUALLY c-ringed 1990-2001.

note 3 : on end of c-ringing action, some 3.000 ravens have been c-ringed.

note 4 : in cooperation with Copenhagen Ringing Centre and Vogelwarte Helgoland.

note 5 : please pay attention to place, date and time, rings on which tarsus, circumstances, e.g. non-breeder group at rubbish dump, or at nest. In some cases behavior and size in group or pair may indicate sex of bird or hierarchy (group status), which therefore may be a valuable information too. In some cases siblings will still guide each other, which therefore may be indicated of c-rings of corresponding details (the line code system above).
