One wingtag composed of two colours (on each wing)

note 1 : used colours are white, grey, yellow, orange, pink, red, green and blue.

note 2 : birds marked in the Limousin, France.

note 3 : since 1986 some 1600 birds have been marked.

note 4 : since 2016 young birds will be  marked with the same bi-coloured wingtag on each wing ... in order the study the loss of their wingtag (i.c. longevity of wingtags).

note 1 : used letters are : A, B, C, D, E, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Z.

note 2 : NOT used numbers are : 99, 66, 69, 96, 68, 86, 98, 99.

note 3 : used codes are : A01-A99 en B01-B62.

note 4 : birds ringed the federal state of Brandenburg, Germany.

note 5 : rings are 30mm. high and up to 50birds/year will be ringed.

note 6 : be carefull as due to a mistake, a similar colour/code project runs in Latvia, starting letter 'A'.
