Orange ring with a three alpha code (AAA, AAB, …) (on right tibia).

note 1 : about 200 birds have been ringed with metal rings (on left tibia) coded CEMO INST. SCI. RABAT (series MA 0001 till MA 1000). These rings are 18mm. on diameter and 12mm. high.

note 2 : the letters F, G, J, K, O and Q are NOT used.

Yellow ring and aluminum ring (on left tibia) and black ring (on right tibia) with a white  two alpha-numeric code.

note 1 : reintroduced storks (26) and pulli (6) from 2005.

note 1 : Ringing is conducted in lowland Croatia, with yellow rings used in the western part (Posavina).

note 2 : During the 2004, 2006 and 2008 years c-rings were placed on the right leg, the metal on the left leg, both on tibia; while during the 2005, 2007 and 2009 years c-rings were placed on the left leg, the metal on the right leg, both on tibia.

note 1 : Ringing is conducted in lowland Croatia, with white rings used in the eastern part (Slavonia and Baranja).

note 2 : during 2004-2009 331 chicks have been ringed in the north-east Croatia (along the Danube and Drava river and Baranya region). Numbers of ringed chicks per year are as follows:
