* green ring with a three alpha-numeric code (on right tarsus)
* green ring over metal ring (on left tarsus).   

note 1 : used code is A00-Z99 and used letters are A, B, C, E, F, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.

Combination of dark-blue ring with a white three alpha-numeric code (starting letter 'A') (on the left tarsus) and a blue ring (on the right tibia) and metal ring (on right tarsus).   

note 1 : birds ringed during autunm 2012.
note 2 : used letters are : A,B,C,D,E,H,J,K,L,N,P,S,T,V,X,Z,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Combination of c-rings.

note 1 : ca.100 colour-ringed in Chichester Harbour and elsewhere in The Solent since Sept 2011. They all have the following scheme :
* right tibia : single colour-ring (either yellow or red)
* right tarsus : two colour-rings including doubles (colours used: dark green, white, lime, yellow, orange, red or black)
* left tarsus: BTO metal ring.

OR

* left tibia: single colour-ring (red)
* left tarsus: two colour-rings including doubles (colours used: dark green, white, lime, yellow, orange, red or black)
* right tarsus: BTO metal ring.

Combination of red flag (on left tibia) with a white 2 alpha-numeric code and 1 c-ring (on right tibia) and metal ring (on right tarsus).

note 1: birds are ringed at South-westernmost Sweden since 2011, studying declining populations of waders in meadowland.

note 2: Single c-ring (on right tibia) varies by age and year of ringing: Adults always white ; 2011 juveniles, yellow ; 2012 juveniles purple ; 2013 juveniles, orange. Future years will use different colours.
