Combination of c-rings : 2 c-rings (on left tarsus) and 1 c-ring and metal ring (on right tarsus).

note 1 : used colours are : black, brown, red, orange, yellow, dark-green, pale-green, dark-blue, pale-blue, pink, violet, grey and the metal ring.

note 2: the project runs in Arad county/Western Romania in three colonies. This program is part of “Milvus Group” - Association for Bird and Nature Protection Raptor Conservation Working Group’s activity. In 2003 we marked a number of 73 nestlings and in 2004 another 34 of young Common Kestrels. They will be ringed with the aim to study the movements of young birds; the distance between the hatching and the nesting place (in following years), fidelity to nesting area, nest site selection, social structure and also the hierarchy within colonies of Red-footed Falcon and Common Kestrel.
