Combination of uncoded wingtags and uncoded rings.

note 1 : left leg (localization code, all places in Catalonia). Red = Lleida, White = Girona, Black = Tarragona, Yellow = Barcelona, Green = Hacking PNAE. ; right leg (year code). Black = 2000, Red = 2001, White = 2002, Green = 2003, Yellow = 2004, Blue = 2005.

note 2 : wingtags are only used with chicks released by hacking in the natural Park Aiguamolls del Emporda, Girona ; right-white = 1993, right-blue = 1994, left-white =1995, left-red = 1996, right-red = 1997, right-green = 1998, left-blue = 1999, left-yellow = 2000, right-yellow = 2001, left-orange = 2002, left-green = 2003.

Wingtag with a two alpha-numeric and metal ring.

note 1 : Wingtags can be black, blue, white, green, red or fuchsia with either 2 numbers or a letter and a number.

note 2 : the project with the metal rings runs since 1999 (starting with 1 pair and now 69 pairs in Northwest Bavaria, Germany) and since the summer 2001 birds are wingtagged for the time being only with a yellow wingtag.

note 3 : yellow tags have been used for birds in 2001 and 2002. For 2003 and 2004 light-blue tags with black numbers (right wing only) are used ; green tags were used in 2006.

note 4 : during 2005 red tags (on right wing) with white numbers or with white number and letter are used.

note 5 : by mid-July some 500 birds have been tagged and recoveries are from Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Algeria and Morocco.
