note 2: a "." sign is to be read within the codes.

Dark-green ring with a white one alpha code (on left leg) and a dark-green ring with a one alpha code and metal ring (on other leg).

note 1 : letters AA to BL used.

note 2: birds are ringed in the nest during breeding season 2004 on Brownsea Island Poole harbour.

Yellow wingtag with a two alpha-numeric code. 

note 1 : yellow wingtag has 1 or 2 letters/numbers.

note 2: between 1992 and 1995 1063 birds have been wingtagged (783 white, 265 yellow and 15 blue).

note 3: no more birds have been tagged since winter 1994/95.

note 4: blue wingtags are reserved for future in this program and most of the birds must have lost their tags (yellow looks very fade yellow, rather whitish).
