Red ring with a white four alpha-numeric code (first letter H and three alpha-numerics).  

note 1 : note 1: 283 pulli and 17 ad. were ringed during beginning June '98 in the Retszilas-Orspuszta colony.

note 2 : HM01-HM00 , HH01-HH00 and NJ01-HJ00 used in 1998 for breeding adult and pulli at Rétszilas-Orpuszta Fishponds.

note 3: HK01-HK00 used in 1998-1999-2000 mainly used for wintering gulls at the River Danube (Budapest) ; HN01-HN00 used in 2000-2001 mainly used for wintering gulls at the River Danube (Budapest).

note 4 : latest used HP01-HP00, HR01-HR00, HS01-HS00, HN01-HN00, HV01-HV00 and HU01-HU00. During 2008 and further on the codes H001-H000 are used.

note 5 : latest used : HT01-HT00, HX01-HX00, HZ01-HZ00, HG01-HG00, HW01-HW00, HE01-HE00, HL01-HL00, H(0-9)(0-9)A, H(0-9)(0-9)F, H(0-9)(0-9)H, H(0-9)(0-9)J, H(0-9)(0-9)K, H(0-9)(0-9)L, H(0-9)(0-9)N, H(0-9)(0-9)R.
