Yellow-legged Gull

Yellow ring with a black 3 alpha-numeric code, starting letters "A" or "C" or "F" or "M" or "R" followed by number and letter (letter/number/letter).

note 1 : birds ringed since 2010.

note 2 : birds ringed on Gran Canaria.

note 3 : used letters are A, C, F, H, J, L, M, N, P, R, T, U, V, W and X.

note 4 : used numbers are 0 - 9.

Red ring with a white three alpha-numeric code (number/number/colon ":") letter 'T') on one leg and metal ring (on other leg).

note 1 : letter 'T' with a colon ":" is the scheme identifier.

note 1 : the colour ring is always on left tarsus, with a metal ring on the right tarsus.

note 2 : all birds are from RIAS, a Wildlife rehabilitation and investigation centre in the south of Portugal.

note 2 : the place of ringing is the Upper Rhine, north of Strasbourg (48°40'N,07°56'E) between the German village Rheinau-Freistett, Ortenaukreis Baden-Württemberg, Germany and the French village Gambsheim, Bas-Rhin, Elzas, France.

note 3 : from the year 2000 the first series starting with 01A till 99A are finished in 2000 and ringing will take place with 01Z rings from 2000 to 2002, then with 01Y from 2003 to 2008, and since 2008 with 01Z. The metal ring is also
