note 2 : 320 griffon vultures ringed in Aragon (NE Spain) from April 2009 to present date (July 2010) and increasing. The aim of the project is to know about vulture population and their movements within the region -considering changes happened after cattle disease problems and legal regulations on the matter-. Surveys throughout the network of feeding stations provided by the regional government are the main source of data.
Recordings from elsewhere, including those from out of the region/country are very welcome.
note 3 : the codes are not overlapped with the other groups of Spain thanks to the Estación Biológica de Doñana coordination.
Pale-blue wintgtag with a yellow three alpha-numeric code.
note 1 : codes, already printed soon to be used are : B00, B60-B79, B90.
note 2 : ringers from the Fund for Wild Flora and Fauna are using same colour combination wing tags, but with one alpha-numeric code: A, C, E, H, K, M, O, P, T, Y, X".
