In August 2012 the new program for Polish Ringing Centre - POLRING started to work.  Since then, the best way to report all  observations of birds ringed or recovered in Poland is to fill in the on-line recovery form under http://ring.stornit.gda.pl/

It is not necessary to register in the system to report a single observation, but it is much more convenient to do it if you are a regular observer. The registered users not only receive the ringing data and full life histories but also have an access to all photographs and all future reports of the birds they have seen at least once.

If the ringing data is already in the system, you should get the response within 24 hours. If not, the request for the ringing details is sent to the ringer automatically by the system. You can check the status of your report in RECORDS/MY REPORTS.

In case of any difficulties or problems with the system, please write to ptaki@miiz.waw.pl
