note 1 : the codes used are J001 - J500.

note 2 : 8 (2018), 10 (2019), 11 (2020), 9 (2021), 14 (2022) and 7 (2023) chicks were ringed at Lake Ptuj, Drava River, NE Slovenia, in a mixed gull and tern colony (46°24'21.31"N, 15°53'11.40"E).

note 3 : till April 2024, 73 resighting of 22 different birds abroad and 44 local resighting of 25 different birds (mostly around/in colony) were reported. 

note 4 : letter 'J' is in the lowest position (reading upwards) on the right leg, metal ring on the left leg.

note 5 : the c-rings are used exclusively for ringing chicks with full-grown feathers. 

note 6 :
