Dark-green ring with a white 3 alpha-numeric code (on left tarsus) and metal ring (on right leg).

note 1 : used codes are : A00-A15.

note 2 : birds ringed in Dorset and Berkshire, UK.

note 3 :

White ring with a black two alpha-numeric code (on one leg) and metal ring (on other leg).

note 1 : used codes are : letter/number and number/letter.

Light-blue wingtag (on both wings) with a white four alpha-numeric code :
SP" (to denote Spain) and two numbers.

note 2 : birds where captured during wintering period at Binaced, Huesca (northeastern Spain).

note 3 : from February 2005 till November 2016 609 kites where marked with wingtags (200 yellow, 160 blues and 244 white ).

note 4 : retrapped non Spanish kites with metal ring are attached with wing tags too.

note 5 : majority of kites are attached with white PVC rings with code in black from Biological Station of Doñana.
